COL BKB: Arizona 94, Wisconsin 75

PHILADELPHIA, March 17 (UPI) -- Hassan Adams scored 21 points Friday as Arizona pounded Wisconsin, 94-75, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Philadelphia.

The contest was part of the Minneapolis bracket.

Adams was returning from a suspension after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, which caused him to miss the Pac-10 Tournament last week. He also had two assists, a steal and three rebounds.

Ivan Radenovic had 18 points, seven rebounds and two assists; Philadelphia native Mustafa Shakur had 17 points, five rebounds, nine assists and two steals; Bret Brielmaier had 10 points and eight rebounds; and Marcus Williams had 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists for the eighth-seeded Wildcats, who rose to 20-12.

Alando Tucker had 19 points, four rebounds and two assists; Kammron Taylor added 12 points and four assists; and Michael Flowers had 11 points, four assists and two rebounds for the 9th-seeded Badgers, who ended at 19-12.
