NHL: Edmonton 2, Minnesota 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 14 (UPI) -- Dwayne Roloson stopped 30 shots Tuesday to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

Ryan Smyth had a goal and an assist and Chris Pronger got the other goal for the Oilers, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Kurtis Foster had the lone goal for the Wild, who have lost three of their last four contests. Manny Fernandez stopped 27 shots in the losing effort.

Roloson was shipped to the Oilers right before the trade deadline for a 2006 first-round pick and a conditional draft selection. The 36-year-old spent the better part of four seasons in Minnesota.
