WASHINGTON, March 13 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley had a goal and two assists Sunday as Ottawa beat the Washington Capitals, 5-2.

Jason Spezza also had a goal and two assists; Wade Redden added one goal and one assist; and goaltender Ray Emery turned away 25 shots for the Senators (43-15-5), have won seven of their last eight games.

Chris Clark had a goal and an assist; Jamie Heward scored the other goal; Dainius Zubrus had an assist; and goalie Olaf Kolzig was beaten five times on 24 shots for the Capitals (22-34-7), who have dropped two in a row.

Washington out-shot Ottawa, 27-24. On the one-man advantage, the Senators went 2-for-5. The Capitals were 0-for-6.
