NHL: Los Angeles 2, St. Louis 1 (SO)

ST. LOUIS, March 11 (UPI) -- Mathieu Garon stopped 31 shots plus all three he faced in the shoot-out Saturday when the Los Angeles Kings beat the St. Louis Blues, 2-1.

Luc Robitaille scored the only shoot-out goal for the Kings, who won for the sixth time in their last seven games. Mark Parrish scored his 25th goal of the season during regulation while Michael Cammalleri and Derek Armstrong each had an assist.

Petr Cajanek scored his eighth goal of the season for the Blues, who have lost all three of their four meetings with Los Angeles this season. Keith Tkachuk and Dallas Drake each had an assist.

Tkachuk was unsuccessful on a penalty shot attempt in the second period.

Patrick Lalime stopped 25 of 26 the shots for St. Louis.
