Tiger Woods up by two at Ford Championship

MIAMI, March 4 (UPI) -- Defending champ Tiger Woods posted a 4-under 68 Saturday for a 17-under 199 and a two-shot lead after the third round of the Ford Championship at Doral.

Daniel Chopra (68) and 2002 PGA Champion Rich Beem (69) are tied for second at 15-under 201. David Toms (70) is tied for fourth at 202 with overnight co-leader Camilo Villegas (71).

Villegas, a tour rookie, was one off Woods' lead until a double-bogey at the last hole.

Woods trailed Phil Mickelson by two in last year's final round, but overcame the deficit. Saturday, they were the final pairing and were near the top of the leaderboard throughout most of the round.

But Mickelson -- who shared the second-round lead with Woods, Villegas and Scott Verplank -- found the water with his second shot at the final hole. He only managed a 72 and shares sixth place with Tag Ridings (66) and Dean Wilson (69) at 13-under-par 203.
