VILLANOVA, Pa., March 2 (UPI) -- Randy Foye had 21 points, three assists and four rebounds in his final home game Wednesday night as 4th-ranked Villanova beat St. John's, 65-52.
Allan Ray scored 15 points; Mike Nardi totaled nine points, two assists and three steals and Kyle Lowry had eight points, two rebounds, two assists and four steals for the Wildcats (23-3, 13-2 Big East), who won for the 12th time in their last 13 games.
Eugene Lawrence had 15 points, three rebounds and four assists; Lamont Hamilton added 15 points, 11 rebounds, an assist and two steals; and Ryan Williams had eight points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Red Storm (12-14, 5-10 Big East), who have lost two of their last three games.
Despite the loss, St. John's won the battle of the boards, 35-21.
