KAPOLEI, Hawaii, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Meena Lee birdied the third playoff hole Saturday to defeat Seon-Hwa Lee and win the LPGA Fields Open in Hawaii.
Meena Lee had a third-round 7-under 65 to post a 14-under 202 for the 54 hole tournament.
Second-round leader Seon-Hwa Lee posted a 1-under 71 in Saturday's final round to join Meena Lee in the playoff.
Both women parred the first two playoff holes. At the par-4 third playoff hole, each player found the fairway off the tee and stuck her approach shot within 10 feet. Seon-Hwa Lee missed her 10-foot birdie try on the low side and tapped in for par while Meena Lee ran in her four-foot birdie putt for her second LPGA Tour title.
Local favorite Michelle Wie closed with a 66 to finish one back at 13-under 203.
