WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Reyshawn Terry scored 24 points Sunday to help No. 23 North Carolina beat Wake Forest, 83-72.
Terry also had three rebounds, two assists and three steals.
Tyler Hansbrough had 17 points and six rebounds; David Noel added 13 points, five rebounds and three assists; and Danny Green had 10 points, three rebounds and two blocked shots for the Tar Heels (17-6, 8-4 ACC), who won for the sixth time in their last seven games.
Justin Gray had 20 points, six assists and two steals; Eric Williams added 19 points, eight rebounds, and blocked two shots; and Michael Drum had 10 points, five assists and two rebounds for the Demon Deacons (13-13, 1-11 ACC), who have dropped eight of their last nine games.
Wake Forest out-rebounded the Tar Heels, 33-31. Both teams had 13 turnovers.
