Kevin Stadler wins title at Perth

PERTH, Australia, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Kevin Stadler made an eagle on the final hole Sunday and won the Johnnie Walker Golf Classic at Perth, Australia, by two strokes over Nick O'Hern.

In the final round, Stadler shot a 3-under 69 to finish at 20-under-par 268. For the 26-year-old Stadler, it was his first win on the European Tour.

He has won twice on the Nationwide Tour in the United States, and was victorious at the 2005 Centenary Argentine Open.

O'Hern, who briefly held the lead during the final round, closed at 18-under-par 270 followed by Robert Allenby (66) and Richard Green (71), who shared third place at 16-under 272.

Second-round leader K.J. Choi (72) was alone in fifth at 15-under-par 273. Adam Scott (69), the 2005 champion, was one stroke further back at 14-under 274 with Francesco Molinari (72) and Ian Poulter (69).
