NHL: Pittsburgh 6, Washington 3

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Mark Recchi and Sergei Gonchar each had a goal and three assists Saturday as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Washington Capitals, 6-3.

John LeClair added a goal and two assists and Sidney Crosby and Colby Armstrong each a goal and an assist for the Penguins, who have their first two-game win streak since late December.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 36 saves in the victory for Pittsburgh, which has won four straight against Washington.

Matt Pettinger had a goal and an assist and Alexander Ovechkin and Brian Sutherby each added goals for the Capitals, who have lost their last four games.

Washington goalkeeper Olaf Kolzig, who was signed to a two-year contract extension before the game, allowed six goals on 29 shots.
