COL BKB: Tennessee 75, Kentucky 67

LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Chris Lofton scored 31 points Tuesday to lead the 14th-ranked Tennessee Vols to a 75-67 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Lofton made a career-high seven three-pointers as the Volunteers (17-3, 8-1 SEC), won for the sixth straight time. It was the first time since 1999 that Tennessee beat Kentucky on the Wildcats home court.

Major Wingate added 12 points and C.J. Watson 10 as Tennessee used a 9-0 run late in the second half to snap an eight-game losing streak against the Wildcats.

Randolph Morris scored 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting for the Wildcats (15-8, 5-4), who lost their second straight. Ravi Moss had 14 points, Joe Crawford 12, and Rajon Rondo 11 in the loss.
