NHL: Ottawa 5, Pittsburgh 2

OTTAWA, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Peter Schaffer had two goals and an assist Monday as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-2.

Bryan Smolinski added a goal and an assist and Antoine Vermette had two assists for the Senators, who won for just the second time in their last five games.

Ottawa goaltender Ray Emery had 22 saves.

Ryan Malone and Eric Boguniecki each had a goal and an assist for the Penguins, who lost their sixth straight game.

Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury allowed five goals on 46 shots.
