NHL: Minnesota 4, Chicago 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Kurtis Foster scored a goal and an assist Friday night as Minnesota beat the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-1.

Kyle Wanvig, Marian Gaborik and Randy Robitaille also scored goals; Foster, Stephane Veilleux, Mikko Koivu, Marc Chouinard, Alexandre Daigle and Brian Rolston had assists; and Manny Fernandez made 31 saves for the Wild (22-21-4). Minnesota has won two in a row following a three-game skid.

Duncan Keith scored the lone goal on assists by Jim Dowd and Brent Seabrook, and goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin made 28 saves for the Blackhawks (16-26-6), who have lost three of their last four games.

Both teams took 32 shots. On the power play, Minnesota was 3-for-8 while the Blackhawks went 0-for-3.
