PISCATAWAY, N.J., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Aaron Gray had 20 points and nine rebounds Wednesday night as ninth-ranked Pittsburgh downed Rutgers, 76-68, to remain unbeaten.
The only other schools without a loss this season are Duke and Florida, who both also won on Wednesday.
Levon Kendall added 14 points and 13 rebounds; Keith Benjamin and Sam Young both scored 12 points; and Carl Krauser had six points, three rebounds and six assists for the Panthers (15-0, 4-0 Big East).
Quincy Douby had 27 points and three assists; J.R. Inman added 12 points and five rebounds; while Marquis Webb had 10 points, two rebounds and four assists for the Scarlet Knights (12-5, 2-2 Big East), who lost to Pittsburgh for the eighth straight time.
The Panthers out-rebounded Rutgers, 40-31. In the well-played contest, Pittsburgh committed only seven turnovers while Rutgers made only nine.
