COL BKB: Florida 113, Savannah State 62

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Joakim Noah scored 21 points Wednesday night as second-ranked Florida trounced Savannah State, 113-62.

Noah also had six rebounds and four assists; Walter Hodge had 18 points and four rebounds; David Huertas added 15 points and eight rebounds; Al Horford had nine points and 10 rebounds while Corey Brewer had 11 points, three rebounds and seven assists for the Gators (17-0), who extended their best start in school history.

Javon Randolph had 22 points and eight rebounds; Joseph Flegler added 16 points, three rebounds and two assists and Terry Hill scored 10 points for the hapless Tigers (1-18), who have lost 18 games in a row since a season-opening win over Wilberforce on Nov. 18. Florida out-rebounded Savannah State, 47-22, and led, 57-23, at the half.

Florida joined Duke and Pittsburgh as the only unbeaten schools in the nation.
