NBA: Indiana 98, Charlotte 92

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Anthony Johnson recorded 27 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday night as the Indiana Pacers beat Charlotte Bobcats, 98-92.

Stephen Jackson added 17 points and eight rebounds while Fred Jones and Sarunas Jasikevicius each scored 14 points for the Pacers (21-16), who have won two of their last three games and again played without star forward Jermaine O'Neal, who missed his second straight game because of a sprained ankle.

Brevin Knight had 15 points and 15 assists; Primoz Brezec and Raymond Felton each scored 15 points each; and Gerald Wallace compiled 14 points and nine rebounds for the Bobcats (11-28), who could not build on a 29-21 halftime lead and have dropped five in a row.

Indiana easily won the battle of the boards, 30-20.
