UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- All-America linebacker Paul Posluszny and offensive tackle Levi Brown of Penn State said Friday they would return for their senior seasons.
The 6-foot-2 inch, 230-pound Posluszny captured the Butkus and Bednarik awards this past season as the nation's top linebacker and defensive player, respectively. He led the Nittany Lions in tackles for the second straight season with 116 before suffering a torn knee ligament in the fourth quarter of PSU's triple overtime 26-23 win over Florida State in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 3.
"I decided after speaking with my family and coaches it would be best for me to come back to Penn State and play my senior year," Posluszny said. "I am really looking forward to this coming season. I think we can have another great year."
Brown has started 34 of Penn State's last 35 games and has allowed only 14 sacks in 12 games.
