Trufant questionable for Seahawks

SEATTLE, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Cornerback Marcus Trufant of Seattle Wednesday was listed as questionable for the Seahawks' divisional round playoff game against Washington on Saturday.

Trufant is battling a lower-back injury suffered on Dec. 24 against Indianapolis. The injury caused him to miss the regular season finale at Green Bay on Jan. 1, and he only returned to practice Tuesday.

The former first-round pick out of Washington State was sixth on the team this season with 64 tackles, adding an interception and a sack. For his career, the 5-foot-11 inch, 199-pounder has 218 tackles and eight interceptions in 47 games.

He is considered one of the team's best cover corners and his absence could be a lift to Santana Moss, the Redskins' explosive wide receiver, who averaged more than 16 yards on 84 receptions this season.
