COLLEGE PARK, Md., Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Nik Caner-Medley had 23 points Wednesday night as 12th-ranked Maryland ripped Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 99-73.
Chris McCray had 16 and seven rebounds, D.J. Strawberry registered 14 points, three rebounds and four assists, and Ekene Ibekwe had nine points and eight rebounds for the Terrapins (11-2), who have a six-game winning streak.

Chris Daniels registered 18 points and seven rebounds, Aaron White, who made 5-of-10 three-point attempts added 15 and Kevin Menifee scored nine points for the Islanders (10-5), who had a four-game win streak snapped.
Maryland won the rebounding battle by 25-17. The Terps made only three turnovers in the contest while the Islanders committed 13.
