COL BKB: Kentucky 59, Central Florida 57

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Rajon Rondo sank a jump shot from inside the free throw line with 1.5 seconds left Tuesday as 21st-ranked Kentucky edged Central Florida, 59-57.

Rondo had 13 points, six assists and four steals for the Wildcats (10-3), who won for the fourth straight time. Ramel Bradley had a game-high 16 points for Kentucky.

Josh Peppers led the Golden Knights (6-6) with 15 points. Justin Rose added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Mike O'Donnell made a three-pointer with just 26 seconds left to tie the game at 57-57 before Rondo hit his winning jumper.
