NHL: Anaheim 5, St. Louis 4 (SO)

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Chris Kunitz had the lone shoot-out goal and also scored twice in regulation Saturday night as Anaheim beat St. Louis, 5-4.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 30 saves and stopped all three shoot-out tries while Francois Beauchemin registered two assists for the Mighty Ducks (17-15-6), who have won two of their last three games.

Doug Weight had a goal and two assists, Mike Sillinger added a goal and one assist while starting goalie Jason Bacashihua allowed two goals on five shots and was quickly pulled in favor of Curtis Sanford, who made 26 saves for the Blues (9-22-5), who have dropped two in a row and three of their last four games.
