COL BKB: Louisville 58, Miami 43

SUNRISE, Fla., Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Juan Palacios, who hit four three-pointers, scored 19 points Saturday as 10th-ranked Louisville beat Miami-Florida, 58-43, at the Orange Bowl Classic.

Taquan Dean added 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists while David Padgett registered 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Cardinals (11-1), who scored 17 consecutive points late in the game to post their fifth win in a row since a 73-61 loss to arch-rival Kentucky on Dec. 17.

Robert Hite had 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists and Anthony Harris scored 10 points for the Hurricanes (7-6), who have lost three of their last four games.

Louisville out-rebounded Miami, 39-32. Both teams committed 13 turnovers.
