COL FB: Utah 38, Georgia Tech 10

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Travis LaTendresse caught four touchdown passes Thursday as Utah ripped No. 24 Georgia Tech, 38-10, in the Emerald Bowl at San Francisco.

LaTendresse, a senior from El Dorado Hills, Calif., had 16 receptions for 214 yards in his last game for the Utes (7-5) -- who ended the season with three wins in their final four games.

Quarterback Brett Ratliff set Emerald Bowl records for completions and yards by going 30-of-41 for 381 yards. He had four touchdowns and one interception.

Running back Quinton Ganther added 118 yards and a touchdown on 22 attempts while Brian Hernandez made eight receptions for 75 yards.

Reggie Ball went 18-of-28 for 258 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, and Damarius Bilbo made four catches for 103 yards for the Yellow Jackets (7-5), who had three losses in their final four contests.

Utah amassed 540 total yards, the most given up by the Jackets defense all season.
