NFL: Dallas 24, Carolina 20

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Terry Glenn scored a touchdown with 24 seconds left to play Saturday to help the Dallas Cowboys beat the Carolina Panthers, 24-20.

Glenn had four receptions for 88 yards while Drew Bledsoe completed 15-of-23 passes for 209 yards, Keyshawn Johnson made six receptions for 89 yards and Julius Jones rushed for 194 yards and two scores on 34 carries for Dallas (9-6), which kept its NFC wild card hopes alive.

The Cowboys had a chance to tie the game on a 33-yard field goal try by Billy Cundiff with 1:07 left. Cundiff missed wide right, but the Panthers' Julius Peppers was penalized for running into the kicker. Glenn's scoring catch came with just 24 seconds to play in regulation.

Jake Delhomme was 14-of-31 for 260 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while DeShaun Foster had 68 yards on 22 carries, and Ricky Proehl had two catches for 104 yards and a score for Carolina (10-5).
