BOSTON, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Alexei Zhamnov scored his first goal of the season and Brian Leetch had three assists Thursday night as Boston beat Toronto, 4-1.
Brian Leetch had three assists and goalie Hannu Toivonen stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced for the Bruins (12-16-6), who have won two of three following a three-game skid.

Mariusz Czerkawski scored the lone goal, Mats Sundin had an assist and Mikael Tellqvist made 21 saves for Toronto (17-14-3), which has lost five of its last seven games.
The Maple Leafs outshot Boston, 27-25. Toronto was 0-for-9 on the power play while Boston was 1-for-8.
