NHL: Boston 1, Phoenix 0

BOSTON, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Ladislav Nagy popped the game-winning goal 30 seconds into overtime to edge the visiting Phoenix Coyotes past the Boston Bruins, 2-1.

Mike Johnson also scored and Nagy added an assist for the Coyotes, who won for the fifth time in their last six games. Petr Nedved had an assist and Curtis Joseph made 18 saves in the win.

Brian Leetch had the lone goal for the Bruins, who have lost their last three games. Patrice Bergeron and Marco Sturm added assists, and Hannu Toivonen allowed two goals on 32 shots in the loss.

The two teams combined for 21 shots, 15 by Phoenix, and each team had two fruitless power-play opportunities in the second period.
