Drew Brees went 35-of-52 for 279 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for San Diego, while LaDainian Tomlinson was held to 75 yards rushing on 21 carries. Antonio Gates made 13 catches for 125 yards and one touchdown for the Chargers (8-5), who saw their five-game winning broken.
