COL BKB: Mich. State 83, Wichita State 64

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Maurice Ager had 21 points, five assists and five rebounds Saturday night as 14th-ranked Michigan State toppled Wichita State, 83-64.

Paul Davis had 20 points, 11 rebounds and two assists while Drew Neitzel scored 14 for the Spartans (7-2), who have built a six-game winning streak since a triple-overtime loss to Gonzaga on Nov. 22 at the Maui Invitational.

Paul Miller scored 21 points and P.J. Couisnard added 12 points, four boards and three assists for the Shockers (7-2), whose four-game winning streak was broken.

The Spartans, who led by 43-28 at the break, out-rebounded Wichita State, 27-23.

MSU committed 14 turnovers to 13 for the Shockers.
