NHL: Los Angeles 2, Toronto 1

TORONTO, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Dustin Brown scored both Los Angeles goals and Mathieu Garon made 36 saves Tuesday as the Kings posted a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Eric Belanger and Mattias Norstrom each had a pair of assists to help Los Angeles end a four-game losing streak.

Darcy Tucker scored the lone goal for the Maple Leafs, who outshot the Kings 37-23 for the night but had its normally reliable power play held in check by Los Angeles.

Toronto entered the night ranked second in the NHL in power-play percentage but failed on eight of its nine opportunities with the extra skater.
