COL BKB: Illinois 75, Ark-Little Rock 49

CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Freshman Jamar Smith scored 23 points, 18 on six three-pointers, as No. 10 Illinois capitalized on a second-half run to beat Arkansas-Little Rock, 75-49.

James Augustine added 12 points and seven rebounds and Dee Brown had 10 assists for Illinois (8-0), which scored 19 straight points during a second-half stretch.

Illinois' home winning streak is now 25 games, which ranks fourth in the nation behind Washington, Gonzaga and Southern Illinois.

Lekheythan Malone led Arkansas-Little Rock (3-3) with 17 points.
