ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Andy McDonald's power-play goal with 4:29 left in the third period lifted the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Atlanta Thrashers.
Joffrey Lupul also had a goal while Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 20 of 21 shots to help the Ducks secure their fourth consecutive victory.
Brad Larsen had the lone tally for the Thrashers, who have lost three straight games. Michael Garnett finished with 26 saves in defeat.
The Thrashers lost veteran winger Peter Bondra to a groin pull in the second period.
