NHL: New Jersey 3, Minnesota 2 (OT)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Martin Brodeur made 37 saves and blocked Minnesota on each of its three shootout chances Saturday as the New Jersey Devils beat the Wild, 3-2.

Viktor Kozlov made the game-deciding shootout goal and also scored the tying goal in regulation for the Devils, who have won four of their last five games. Jay Pandolfo also scored in the victory.

Brian Rolston got his 200th career goal and added an assist for Minnesota, which has dropped three straight. Andrei Zyuzin also scored and Manny Fernandez had 31 saves for the Wild.

The Devils were trailing 2-1 late in the third period before Kozlov snuck a goal past Fernandez to pull the Devils even and send the game into overtime.
