Bernard Langer and son combine for a 59

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Bernhard Langer and his son, Stefan, combined for a 13-under 59 Saturday to take a one-stroke lead after the first round of the two-day Father/Son Challenge.

Raymond and Robert Floyd, who won in 2000 and 2001, shot a 12-under 60. They were joined in second place by Vijay and Qass Singh, as well as Hale and Steve Irwin, who won this crown in 2003.

Larry Nelson, who won last year with his son Drew, played this year with son Josh. They opened with an 11-under 61 and share fifth place with the Pates, Jerry and Wesley, and Mark O'Meara, who is playing with son Shaun.
