NHL: Tampa Bay 3, Chicago 2 (OT)

TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Brad Richards scored the game-winning goal in a shootout Friday as the Tampa Bay Lightning posted a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Martin St. Louis had a goal and an assist and Vincent Lecavalier had the other goal for the Lightning, who have won three straight and seven of their last eight games. John Grahame made 34 saves in the victory.

Brent Seabrook and Mark Bell scored goals for the Blackhawks, who have lost four of their last five games. Craig Anderson made 25 saves in the loss.

Tampa Bay had the best chance in overtime when Dave Andreychuk came flying into the Chicago zone. His shot beat Anderson, but bounced off the crossbar and the teams went to the shootout.
