NHL: Ottawa 5, Los Angeles 1

OTTAWA, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley scored two goals and Dominik Hasek made 28 saves Friday as the Ottawa Senators beat the Los Angeles Kings, 5-1.

Brandon Bochenski added a goal and an assist for the Senators, who have won seven of their last eight games. Jason Spezza contributed two assists, giving him 32 on the year.

Pavol Demitra scored the lone goal for the Kings, who have lost three games in a row and four of their last five. Jason LaBarbera allowed five goals on 27 shots in the loss.

The win was Ottawa's first on home ice against the Kings since Dec. 3, 1998.
