NHL: Anaheim 6, Phoenix 1

ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Dustin Penner scored the first two goals of his career plus an assist to lead the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim over the visiting Phoenix Coyotes, 6-1.

Chris Kunitz tallied a goal and an assist, and Ilya Bryzgalov made 16 saves for Anaheim, which won its third straight contest. Joffrey Lupul, Zenon Konopka and Teemu Selanne also notched goals for the Ducks.

Two goals eight seconds apart in the second period were the fastest two goals in Anaheim's franchise history.

Mike LeClerc scored the Coyotes' lone goal, and David LeNeveu stopped 29 of the 35 shots he faced for Phoenix.
