UNIONDALE, N.Y., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Simon Gagne scored two goals, including the game-winner in the third period, and added an assist Tuesday as Philadelphia beat the New York Islanders, 4-3.
Patrick Sharp and Joni Pitkanen each had goals and Robert Esche made 20 saves for the Flyers, who have won two of their last three games.
Miroslav Satan, Jason Blake and Mark Parrish each scored for New York. Garth Snow stopped 31 shots for the Islanders, who have lost three of their last four contests. They beat Philadelphia, 4-2, Saturday.
