COL BKB: Florida 87, Alabama St. 60

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- The 11th-ranked Florida Gators posted an 87-60 victory Monday over Alabama State.

Taurean Green scored 18 points and was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line and Cory Brewer was 8-of-9 from the field for 17 points for Florida (6-0). Al Horford added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

LaMarquis Blake scored 16 points for the Hornets (1-5), who were playing Florida for the first time. Cedric Mitchell added 13 points in defeat.

Florida opened up with a 10-0 run in the opening minutes.
