COL FB: Nevada 38, Fresno State 35

RENO, Nev., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Robert Hubbard rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night as Nevada knocked off 16th-ranked Fresno State, 38-35.

The Bulldogs' setback came a week after their epic 50-42 loss to top-ranked Southern California last Saturday.

Jeff Rowe was 14-of-22 passing for 189 yards and one touchdown, B.J. Mitchell ran for 77 yards on 17 attempts and Kyle Sammons had 59 yards receiving on just two catches for the Wolf Pack (8-3, 7-1 WAC), which won a share of its first Western Athletic Conference title with the victory.

Paul Pinegar was 30-of-45 for 405 yards, four touchdowns and one interception, Joe Fernandez made nine receptions for 150 yards and a score while Paul Williams added six catches for 79 yards and one touchdown for Fresno State (8-3, 6-1 WAC), which had its 11-game league winning streak broken.
