COL FB: Georgia 14,Georgia Tech 7

ATLANTA, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- D.J. Shockley tossed a touchdown pass with 3:18 left to play on Saturday night as 13th-ranked Georgia turned back No. 24 Georgia Tech, 14-7.

Shockley completed 15-of-34 passes for 198 yards with the one score and one interception. The scoring pass went to Bryan McClendon. Mohamed Massaquoi made six catches for 72 yards and Leonard Pope added four receptions for 63 yards. Tim Jennings intercepted a pass by Reggie Ball at the two-yard line with just over a minute to play to secure Georgia's second win in a row. The Bulldogs (9-2) beat the Yellow Jackets (7-4) for the fifth straight season.

Ball was 18-of-35 passing for 155 yards, and P.J. Daniels rushed for 78 yards on 16 attempts while Ball added 65 yards on 14 attempts.

The Bulldogs will return to Atlanta to face LSU next Saturday in the SEC Championship game.
