NHL: Nashville 5, Los Angeles 4

NASHVILLE, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Steve Sullivan registered a goal and added an assist Thursday night as Nashville edged the Los Angeles Kings, 4-3.

Marek Zidlicky had three assists and Adam Hall scored once for Nashville (13-3-3), which has won six of its last seven games. Goaltender Tomas Vokoun stopped 35 of the 38 shots he faced.

Derek Armstrong scored twice, Jeremy Roenick, Tim Gleason, Sean Avery, Craig Conroy, Lubomir Visnovsky and Alexander Frolov all assisted once, and goalie Jason LaBarbera made 29 saves for the Kings (15-7-1), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Los Angeles outshot the Predators, 38-33. The Kings went scoreless on five power-play opportunities while Nashville was 1-for-4.

The Predators' Paul Kariya was denied on a penalty shot late in the second period.
