COL FB: Penn State 31, Michigan State 22

EAST LANSING, Mich., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Michael Robinson passed for 105 yards and one touchdown Saturday to help fifth-ranked Penn State beat Michigan State, 31-22.

Robinson completed 10 of 22 pass attempts and added 90 yards and one score on 20 rushing attempts. Tony Hunt rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown on 20 attempts, and Deon Butler made four catches for 48 yards and one score for the Nittany Lions (10-1, 7-1 Big Ten), who finished tied atop the conference standings with Ohio State.

Robinson ran for at least one score in nine games this year, while Hunt finished the regular season with 1,047 rushing yards to become the 11th player in school history with at least 1,000 yards in a season.

Drew Stanton went 23-of-36 for 233 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions for Michigan State. He added 81 yards on 19 rushes, and Matt Trannon caught seven passes for 93 yards for the Spartans (5-6, 2-6).
