NBA: New York 105, Sacramento 95

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Rookie Channing Frye scored 19 points in 17 minutes off the bench Sunday night as New York beat Sacramento, 105-95, Larry Brown's first win as Knicks' coach.

Frye went 8-of-13 from the field to lead six New York players in double figures. Stephon Marbury added 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting while Eddy Curry had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Knicks (1-5), who shot nearly 54 percent as a team and avoided an 0-6 start. Trevor Ariza had 13 points, five rebounds, and six assists, and Jamal Crawford added 17 points.

Peja Stojakovic scored 31 points, Mike Bibby had 18 and Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 14 points and a game-high 13 boards before being ejected in the final minute for the Kings (2-5).

New York broke an eight-game losing streak in Sacramento. The Knicks last won at Sacramento on Feb. 20, 1997.
