NHL: Atlanta 5, Pittsburgh 0

ATLANTA, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Mike Dunham made 26 saves to record his 19th career shutout Wednesday night as the Atlanta Thrashers blanked the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-0.

Marc Savard had a goal and two assists; Vyacheslav Kozlov, Marian Hossa, Peter Bondra each had a goal and an assist each, and Jim Slater scored once for Atlanta (5-9-1), which snapped a two-game skid.

For the Penguins (4-7-5), who lost for the second time in their last three games, goalie Sebastien Caron stopped 34 of 38 shots before leaving with an injury late in the third period.

The Penguins were outshot 40-26 and went 0-for-3 on the power play while the Thrashers were 1-for-6.
