NHL: Nashville 3, Edmonton 2

NASHVILLE, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Scott Hartnell scored the game-winning goal with 22.5 seconds left Tuesday as the Nashville Predators defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 3-2.

Kimmo Timonen had a goal and an assist for the Predators, who won for the first time in six games. They were 0-2-3 during that stretch. Tomas Vokoun made 31 saves in the victory.

Ryan Smyth and Jarret Stoll scored for the Oilers, who have lost two straight after a five-game winning streak. Jussi Markkanen had 24 saves for the Oilers.
