NHL: Minnesota 4, Anaheim 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Randy Robitaille's shootout goal edged the Minnesota Wild to a 4-3 victory over the hometown Mighty Ducks of Anaheim at Arrowhead Pond.

Ryan Getzlaf scored twice in the second period for the Ducks to force overtime, but the teams played to a stalemate after five more minutes before the Wild won in their second-ever shootout.

Mikko Koivu also put a puck past Jean-Sebastien Giguere, who finished with 18 saves.

For the Ducks, Teemu Selanne had the lone shootout goal and had two assists in regulation time.

Manny Fernandez had 39 saves for the Wild, who won their second straight contest.

Brian Rolston, Koivu and Stephane Veilleux scored in regulation for the Wild, while Zenon Konopka had the other goal for the Ducks.
