NHL: Los Angeles 3, Nashville 2 (SO)

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Jeremy Roenick scored the game winning, shootout goal against the Predators to give the Kings a 3-2 win at the Staples Center Saturday night.

Nashville blew a two-goal lead in the third period when Craig Conroy and Tom Kostopoulos scored. Pavol Demitra also scored for Los Angeles in the shootout.

Jeremy Stevenson and Martin Erat scored in the first period for Nashville but didn't find the net in the shootout as the Predators lost its fifth game in a row.

The Kings have won three of their last four games.
