FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Jeff Ballard totaled 204 yards and two touchdowns Saturday night to help 20th-ranked TCU beat Colorado State, 33-6.

The victory gave the Horned Frogs (9-1, 7-0 MWC) the title in the Mountain West Conference.

Running backs of Robert Merrill (94 yards on 16 attempts) and freshman Aaron Brown (84 yards on 13 carries and one touchdown) combined for 178 yards on the ground for TCU, which has an eight-game winning streak.

Justin Holland was 22-of-38 for 194 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions and David Anderson made seven catches for 96 yards. Jason Smith booted two field goals for Colorado State (5-4, 4-2 MWC).

The Horned Frogs out-gained the Rams, 401-253.
