EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Brady Leaf threw a four-yard touchdown pass to James Finley in overtime Saturday as 13th-ranked Oregon beat No. 21 California, 27-20.
In relief of Dennis Dixon, Leaf went 9-of-13 passing for 93 yards and one touchdown. Dixon was 15-of-26 for 139 yards, one touchdown and one interception; Terrence Whitehead rushed for 119 yards on 20 carries and added eight catches for 72 yards; and Demetrius Williams caught three passes for 46 yards and one touchdown for the Ducks (8-1, 5-1 Pac-10), who have a five-game winning streak.
Marshawn Lynch gained 189 yards and scored twice on 25 carries. Joe Ayoob was only 10-of-26 passing for 88 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions while Lynch added three catches for 13 yards.
Robert Jordan had two receptions for 25 yards for the Golden Bears (6-3, 3-3 Pac-10), who have lost three of their last four games.
