TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A.J. Davis had two key pass interceptions Saturday as N.C. State upset 8th-ranked Florida State, 20-15.
Running back Andre Brown rushed for 179 yards and one touchdown on 26 attempts, and quarterback Marcus Stone went 9-of-17 passing for 85 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Wolfpack (4-4, 2-4 ACC).
Freshman Drew Weatherford was 19-of-38 for 181 yards, three interceptions and one touchdown while wide receiver Chris Davis added five catches for 53 yards and one score for the Seminoles (7-2, 5-2 ACC).
By virtue of Boston College's loss at North Carolina earlier Saturday, FSU still clinched a spot in the initial ACC championship game in Jacksonville in December.
The N.C. State defense held the Seminoles to only 43 yards on 23 carries.
The last five games between the schools have been decided by 10 points or fewer.
